laser acts like rotary is still attached

Removed the rotary turned on my laser and am trying to laser flat acrylic. Job control acts like the rotary is still attached.
i removed the rotary from the setup before sending the file but it still shows up and won't let me put my design on the page.
i reinstalled and removed the rotary. always have laser in off position as i know not to unplug when the laser is on.
    rebooted computer.

    any ideas?????

Not sure if this is an issue with JC, but did you resize the work area so it's not based on a cylinder and pi?
