86" height. 26" deep tall cabinet

    Making cabinets for my kitchen.
    they are currently mdf veneered
i am wanting to use prefinished plywood, because frankly I have no idea how to work with mdf or fasten/joint the stuff.

how do I prevent the plywood from warping?
Could I just make a 1/2" back for the carcass?
Could I run some furring strips along the back to give it more support?

    This would be 7ply or 9ply 3/4"

I would expect a fixed shelf (or 3) in a cabinet that tall. Do you plan on 84" doors as well?

I have 84" cabinets in my bathroom that are veneered plywood.

I did it by stacking two units on top of each other and then using a skin on exposed side to hide the seam.

The smaller units were easier to handle.
