Installing a very simple, basic planing stop on my bench.

Beginner here, but thought I might post this for another beginner who might be looking for something like this.

It will work and I've done it. However, with two rows of dogs on my bench, I simply bought the LV planing stop which enables me to put it anywhere I need. Been using it for about 5 years now and don't see the need for anything else as to a stop. It's great.

Thanks. Yes I thought about dogs. But it is an outside bench and the dog holes would likely fill up with crud and debris over time, so I opted against them.
Besides, I've been working on a Workmate with improvised planing stops for 7 or 8 years, so it fits the way I work.
