    Smile Cherry Cabinet

image.jpg I designed this to hold cable box and to hide the unsightly wires. I used my router table to make the tongue and groove door. Finish is blo and wipe on poly. I also put the finished cabinet in the sun for about 10 hours.

Nice cabinet...I am a little surprised how quick cherry will darken in the sun.

Great looking cabinet. I am jealous of that perfect door spacing.

Why did you put it in the corner?

Don't you know that "nobody puts baby in the corner?"!

Nice cabinet, Ed! There's something about cherry that just naturally warms up the space it's sitting in. Did you do the door rails and stiles with cope-and-stick bits or is that detail I'm seeing an added molding?

image.jpgUsed this CMT set for the door. However, I only used the stile and rail bits. I wanted the panel flat.

Very nice. Cherry is good. Works well, looks great, ages with dignity. What's not to like?
