mm16 question, missing a part?

i just picked up a used minimax mm16 and i'm starting the process of cleaning it up. I saw the motor pulley wheel, in the center of it, has a place where it looks like it could take a fastener/bolt (the hole has threads in it). Not sure if it's missing a part or not. I looked at the manual and it doesn't appear like anything threads into it, but I just want to ask to make sure. here is a pic, the blue arrow is the area i'm talking about. Thanks for the help.

My MM16 motor shaft looks the same as your photo. No problems in the last 5 years. Tom
