  1. Corel Plugin not working X5

I paid for the CorelDraw Braille plugin and cannot get it to work. I have CorelDraw x5 and followed your instructions to the T, but no luck. Please help me, I need it up and running yesterday!

Did you purchase it from Corel or an online source? When you select "About", what does it say in the window? What did it say on the box when you purchased the program?

  7. I fixed it! thanx to all for trying fix it

Some more advice I need as a newbie to Braille plugin:
    how do i make change from .059 to .031 - .037?

Should I make the sign on a sheet that is 1/16 or 1/32 thick?

Also do you push the spheres into the material from the front or back?

    Yossi,

    I don't understand the question.

Should I make the sign on a sheet that is 1/16 or 1/32 thick?
The thickness of the sheet you use for tactile text is based on the type of sign you are making. Corian signs where a pocket is engraved use 1/16" thick material. The technique that uses an applique on top of the substrate uses 1/32" material. Your substrate should be at least 1/8" thick in most cases.

Also do you push the spheres into the material from the front or back?
Acrylic signs are generally made by inserting the Braille spheres from the back of the top piece, then a backer is attached.

Go to Vision Engravers web site, they have some good videos that show the process.

  9. WOW!! thanks a lot Keith.
