    vaneers for guitars

    Good day woodchucks, I am looking for a vaneer for top and bottom of a solid body guitar basewood is poplar I was thinking of birdseye maple or maybe African Paduke any comments about aquiring 2pcs 2ftx2ft for this project or other nice workable show wood?

    A guitar is a lot of work and considerable $$$ when the materials are all accounted for. In the end you'll have an instrument for the rest of your life. For this reason I recommend buying the nicest wood you can afford! You have an entire lifetime to admire the figure of your top and back veneers.

    Search Ebay for VENEERS(and spell it right or you may not get results). There are usually quite a few different veneers available there.
