    Accidental HF in Cherry

    I really wanted this one to be a bowl, but the ants and borers conspired against me. It started out as about a 15" diameter by 15" high blank and by the time I roughed out most of the ant tunnels and worm holes there wasn't enough wood left for a decent bowl....so it became this hollow form. 13" x 6" and kind of a southwest pottery form, Watco'd, buffed and Ren waxed.     Well, Ted, it "accidentally" looks very nice!! I love the character and color of the cherry.

    I guess that was a decent workout for that 4224 er, uh, I mean 42104 or what ever you are calling that Mustard Monster x 2!
