    Cocobolo stoppers

Had a guy order a dozen cocobolo wine stoppers from me for corporate Christmas gifts. All have a CA finish...About a dozen coats wet sanded then buffed. These babies are the easiest little money makers ever!!! Going to increase my marketing efforts next year, but just word of mouth has sold several hundred dollars worth of stoppers for me in the last month.

Great stoppers. The form and finish really make them "pop". I'm sure the recipients will love them. Well done!!

Neat looking pic, Aaron!! Looks like you have that form down pat, and the cocobolo really makes up well.

Looks good Aaron! I sold every one I made this year and could have sold a ton more as well. Next year I will have way more on hand!

Joel this year I sold them for $20 each. I'm still making good money at that price. I've seen that a lot of folks here tend to ask $25 for stoppers with Ruth's hardware on them. Next year they're $25. I've seen some in local stores that look half as good selling for nearly twice as much, many with the cheap-o chromed/plated hardware.

Nice looking stoppers! I had to take a small gift to my wifes family Christmas party this weekend for a yankee swap. I tried a bottle stopper out of a piece of cherry burl. I think I could have sold a dozen even though not a single person asked what it was made out of.
