So I've been waiting a while for this gloat... First one.
Long story, but I bought an R4511 December 1st for $499 and a 5" ROS. Used a 10% Lowes coupon. (the ROS kept me above $500 after coupon and eligible for 20% back in Ridgid's F&F rebate)
In Jan I took back the saw and repurchased it when the price dropped to $299. Didn't even drag it in. The nice lady looked up my receipt for me! She asked me 'Why did you get $50+ off?' I told her I used a Lowes coupon. 'Since I was honest' she gave me the $50 off when I repurchased. So I got it for $250.
Since I already sent in the F&F I kept checking the mail. Was curious if it would come in. Never came. So just for grins I called last week. Actually found the check (with a weird return address) in the stack of junk mail in my car!
Check for $102+ deposited today.
R4511 for approx $150. New! Lifetime warranty intact.
Oh, and I got a drill press for $150, bandsaw for $187, and jointer for $199.
Not a bad way to spend $700 if you ask me!
