    Zooming in CorelDRAW X5

Someone pingned me off list about the mouse wheel stuff being different in X5....I guess they were shy :>

In X4 the zoom will force the cursor, and the view, to center on the screen and then zoom in and out from there...may found this very confusing so we reverted the default behavior to that of D12 where the cursor will stay where it is and zoom and out from there.

This can be changed back to X3, X4 behavour. The option for this is in Tools>Options>Workspace>Toolbox>Zoom Tool Look over on the right and you'll see [ ]Center mouse when zooming with the mouse wheel.

    Njoy!

Perfect timing Tony - that's one of the things I noticed first in X5 that was different than 3 or 4. I am very used to the zoom in X3 and appreciate being able to revert back.

    THANKS!

It is SOOOOO nice to have a software guy on board!

It's ashame more manufacturers or publishers don't follow suit!

Tony, any chance for Corel in the near future to have anything to make converting photos easier for the laser?

    Martin,

In my "spare" time, I'll be putting together a proper plug-in to do just that... in my "spare" time, mind you...
