San Diego County Fair

I will spend this morning at the woodworking exhibition at the San Diego County fair, one of the best juried woodworking shows in the United States.

Photos will be in many woodworking magazines in a month or so. They are already out in Woodworker West.

I suggest that you check out the photos at the web site of the San Diego Fine Woodworker's Association, web site, www.sdfwa.org/DIW/2004/photogallery.htm. The work is extraordinary.

I will spend three hours today asking people to not touch the furniture.

I stumbled upon that fair a few years back and could not believe what fine furniture people were turning out. I was most impressed my the high school stuff.
