I have also seen people just applying the epoxy directly onto the top with no other stain etc.. under it. They usually do a sealer epoxy coat then the flood. Is this an option? Any specific brands...
Thanks for all of the comments everyone. Most of what everyone has written was echoed by the guys at my sawmill. They said we would have to put the dewaxed shelac over the oil before the epoxy.
