Because the aftermarket or substitute capacitor doesn't look like it belongs to the motor
The saw shop is headed down that road but the replacement isn't going to look good. They have to mount it in a different location. Still looking out for a motor.
The run capacitor went out. The motors fine. Can't find the motor or capacitor
5 hp obsolete.
Looking for a 5hp motor for a delta 10" 5hp table saw
Supermax doesn't make a 12" sander. All my boards are 12" and under
What's a D.C.?
Looking at the Grizzly G0459 - 12" Baby Drum Sander. Any opinions or alternatives?
I think you're right. Long time ago grizzly offered powerfeeds but now I can't find any info about them. I think manual labor still works for pushing the wood thru
I have an 18" jet bandsaw. Anyone with info for a fence and powerfeed?
I've got some black walnut lumber that was milled and stickered 30 years ago. All of it was salvaged from walnut orchards in central California. It's all 3/4", and 4/4 rough figured grain. Anyone...
It was the triple chip 80 tooth blades that I use for plastic. The 80 tooth blades for wood don't whistle.
I had the upper spindle, bearings and belt replaced on my table saw. The rebuild was great but the blade is whistleing a loud pitch type noice. Is it just whistling Dixie or should I be concerned?
All four fixtures went out about the same time. I'm going to check the ballasts tomorrow
Light fixtures
I have my flourescent lights daisy chained. The last lights in the fixture in the chain went out. Any ideas as to why?
I use DFL MSR for my chairs. I'll cherry pick it for moulding. Grows northeastern Washington
I have it and use it in my chairs. Great wood.
I did a sample with gorilla glue. The piece is 0.25" x 6" x 6'. Small bow in the length. I'll post pics later.
The clear VG will be used for trim, moulding and panels. But most of the wood is figured and curly.
I don't think 1/8 or 3/32 would allow a T&G with a V groove pattern
I'm in Oregon. The BB is a grade of fir plywood. It's between AC and CDX grades. The redwood I'm going to resaw is very old old growth. Four to eight inches wide.
Appreciate the feedback. Keep it...
I have some redwood that I want to resaw and drumsand to a net 0.25" thickness. My plan is to glue the redwood to 0.5" BB grade for plywood and then put a T&G edge pattern on the redwood / plywood...
After all these years, I actually thought I knew all about woodworking until I read threads like these!
