Vice Grip made wrenches?
Have they been posted on all the forums? I have checked the 'Neanderthal Haven' every day for a few years and have never seen anything listed (the announcements section is basically treated like...
I've never sharpened (or even seen) one, but as a general rule of mine- if it a blade hard to hold and sharpen, don't. Clamp the blade down and move the stone.
Dandelion puller. The knife looks like a cheese knife, possibly repurposed . The stone may be for a scythe.
Just jump in. The stones probably won't need flattening again in your lifetime unless you do a ton of sharpening. Just be sure to use the whole thing and not one little spot.
Why not just sew a piece of fabric to the bottom of a regular lab coat?
Have the wheel turn away from you and you don't get wet. Also, I use a long planter without drain holes under my wheel to keep the water off the floor.
Wire brush off loose rust then chuck it into a bucket of kerosene and let it sit for a week or two. I have never had a screw that wouldn't come loose after that.
Walnut shavings are toxic for horses. Like others have said, be very careful if giving away sawdust or shavings for bedding.
Nothing major, but 1/4" hex bits in the proper width (slotted) or size (phillips #3) would be great, especially the longer lengths. A screwdriver handle with a through tang (so it can be hit) and/or...
If you have a screw/bolt that won't move, soak it in kerosene for a few days. That has freed every screw I've tried it on.
I think the original question is throwing people (it is me). It says convex but reads like concave is meant. Convex is easy- grab any plane and go. I don't even try and I get convex when I plane.
That sounds like a pain. Why didn't you just run the piece through at an angle to cut the cove in just a few pass? Just curious.
Core box plane? But a one off plane like others mentioned would probably be easier.
I don't give out my location. Somebody made up lies about me and got me banned from a Reddit sub, I don't want someone making up something and finding my employer. Plus, why invite competition to...
Sorry for the tangent, but are these rare in California or something? Around here, they practically give the things away. I have two Millers Falls (I think- one is buried under stuff at the moment),...
Thanks for the correction. I didn't have my Kindle and was going from memory. Apparently I was mixing up my old guys.
Look for 'cramps'. I think Moxon mentions them (it was somone in the weird long s era, 85% sure it was Moxon).
Their air tools (specifically the compact impact gun) have been getting pretty good reviews. The wrenches and sockets have worked well for me just around the house (though I wish they would sell...
You could also go up a size, retap the hole, and make a new stud.
I got mine from McMaster, item 9657K281
edit- those might have been for a breast drill, can't remember, but they sell a shorter spring ( 9657K266 ) which matches the measurements provided.
ShopNotes. At the bottom.
Touting a magazine that has been dead for three years?
Either way is fine, but I would save the wings for soup stock, they're to much like popcorn hulls (get stuck in the teeth and throat) for eatin'.
Crock pot BBQ. The real problem is cleaning them, but you get six drumsticks from each critter. Make sure your knife is sharp!
