The laser would not cut all the way through small circles in Acrylite black acrylic - something we use to cut many many parts. It was skipping in rotating around the circle so...
Yupp! It's always something . . . . I think Kev is telling you the same things I have been .. . . you have to decide first, what you want the laser for:cool:
Thanks for sharing . . . . I'd like to get a few bugs too - the grandkids will have fun;)
Thanks Dave,
The only reason to consider the 6535 was for the shielded case to help prevent static build-up & the better handling of corners.
But we have been so busy with some life altering...
Both Leetro Lasercut 5.3 and controllers MPC 6515 & MPC 6535 are obsolete - now longer supported and pretty much no longer available.

I never run...

so what made you decide to go with the new water based 6060 instead of the 6000?
I just start doing brass casings myself on my Chinese laser using the 6000 with really great results so far.
What a gorgeous pen! Thanks for sharing. I just had a request for something like this too. Helps the creative juices to see such great work!
Try masking the leather and cutting in 2 passes
Getting the machine aligned can take quite sometime initially - sometimes it takes us about an hour or so and is easier with 2 people when there is a large laser bed.
IMHO I would be sure its in the...
Hiya Ken,
Been awhile . . . yes the Chinese laser support forum had to be closed down because of all the spam & hacking. Pete just didn't have time to keep up with it and I got really busy too.

Hi Alex,
Have you actually replaced a 6515 with a 6535? If so did you find anything different in the wiring?
Vicki
Thanks Mike, that's a great tip!
May sound silly - Is this the wax in the big yellow can? I've tried looking for it before for another tip but at our Home Depot doesn't say floor wax on the can.
Hi Allan,
Not sure if you are aware of the quirk in the way Lasercut handles overlapping text, it creates a void when trying to engrave the connecting tails, which you can see at the m a s...
