It's an interesting table. It is hard to see from the photos, but it would appear that you could cut down the top a little bit, maybe an inch or so and still leave the top larger than the base.

What you have is a Craftsman Router Crafter. It lets you make wood turnings (sort of) with your router. I have one and used it a number of times when it was new. You are limited by the diameter...
Maybe it is time to clean the gravel. You will be amazed how much dirt is under it.

I used similar hardware for the wood parts of these day beds....
Getting out of bed in the morning can be dangerous, but then again staying in bed could also be dangerous as lots of people die in bed. We all take various levels of risk every day. If you are...
You can cut pretty nice coves safely on a table saw with a jig, though they do take quite a bit of time to make the cut. Clean up can be a bit of work if you don't have some raker teeth on your...
Don't do this if your lenses are plastic. The dryer sheet will scratch them. I used a dryer sheet on my face shield and it pretty much ruined the plastic with scratches.

Our cat would chew on any flowers we brought into the house. He particularly went after Poinsettias.

Please tell us that the drier isn't exhausting into the crawl space. If it is blowing the exhaust air into the crawl space, that is a really bad idea. All that moisture will encourage mold and rot.
You may have a male holly tree. You need to buy it some friends,,,,,
My shop was getting pretty out of control. I've been attacking one small area at a time, starting with my saw table since a friend asked if I would help him with a project. It is still a work in...

This is what I have done when I have used iron on banding. For Formica type edge banding I use a laminate edge trimmer on my router.
So put a pad on the floor if you want to save the router bit. It is probably easier to replace than the collet.
Find a piece of hardwood about 3 feet long. 6 inches from one end drill a hole that will just let the router bit fit through. Run some duct tape up and over the back end of the collet so it won't...
Well it's a tie at the moment, but there is still time to show your opinion.
Based on the amount of burn marks on your cuts, your saw is not as well aligned as it could be. It could be your fence is flxing from applying too much pressure.
When I make rip cuts on my TS I...
I use Adblock plus, but I set it to allow ads at SMC. Every little bit helps keep the lights on here.
Interesting design. The curved boards in the lid are interesting. I don't think I have ever seen that done before.
Your end grain to face grain joint isn't a very strong joint. The dowel will help, but to prevent rotation should the glue joint fail, add a small finish nail driven through the side into your...
I used the KV 8450FMP slides and really like the soft close feature. They are 100# rated. My wife's pantry has a bunch of them in it and they see pretty heavy use.

I don't see why you can't mount the motor the way you want. It should still work just fine as log as the pulleys are aligned properly. You would still need a way to adjust belt tension.
I've been using Bosch blades on my Bosch multi-tool. They seem to last longer than the cheaper brands. Their carbide tipped blades hold up really well.
If you didn't read the back you didn't know how many box tops you needed to save for the special toy you could get. Like the gray plastic submarines that ran on baking powder. The would dive, sit...
When you look at the file size in windows file explorer it shows file size in KB. I know that 1,000 KB is 1 Mb. I don't know the upper limit of the site software for photo conversion, but the...
