Wrap the blade in some solid cloth, place only the handle vertical on a bench, but whole knife horisontal, and give it a whack with a hammer at the far end first..

I just found this thread, as I'm, pondering on moving into knife making... I fail to see the difference between "stabilizing" and "infusing" wood, but the process surely works better on porous woods...

I don't think I've ever seen a ruler or the likes, with markings to 0.1mm......
FWIW - There are different lenses for Optivizor... Maybe you should try another lens.....As I work with electronics and tiny parts, Optivizor has probably been my most important tool for quite some...

I don't think I'd rely on biscuits to hold the shelves... rather make the shelves run all the way through horisontally and possibly use bisquits to hold the vertical dividers...... I have well...
