Hi Luke. Still haven't put any time on these chisels so I can't comment on their edge retention. But it took a lot of work to flatten them, so they're probably not that bad. Except for mortise...
Hi Mike,
Sorry for the late reply. I don't need these chisels. Kind of like your closet of clothes. You only need a few shirts, but it's nice to have variety depending on how you feel that day.
Here's a closer look at the Woodriver Butt Chisels that I just bought

Another in my Show & Tell series, here I provide a quick walk-through of a box just completed to hold one of my LED video lights. The inside is French fitted to hold the light and its accessories,...
The Taklon brushes were bought from Michaels. The stencil brushes are Loew-Cornell brand.
Thanks everyone for the nice compliments
In this video I demonstrate all the parts in making a hinged box to store my small finish brushes. I made it from scrap Appleply Plywood and 1/8" tempered hardboard.

We all like to see each others shops. Thanks.

I decided to buy this $10 ~No 3 bench plane from Harbor Freight. I knew it would be atrocious out of the box, but with some work maybe I could make it serviceable. Turns out to be a great little...
Thank you Terry!
Thanks Glenn. I hate vertical space that isn't used.
You can never have too many saw blades ;-)
Thank you.
Thanks. I'm off from work the last couple of weeks of the year so I tend to become a night owl when I don't have to get up in the morning for work. I live in Southern California.
A long time ago I came to the realization that you can't eliminate snipe, only reduce it. So rather then deal with extensions, etc., I just plan on cutting ~2 inches off each end of the board when...
I'm beginning a new video series, showcasing my various shop cabinets. If you're like me, you enjoy seeing how others store and use their tools. This is my contribution.

Exactly. The knob on the back adjusts the tension on the piece based on how thick it is. The front lever also screws in and out. Think of it as a small variation of your wooden handscrew clamp. There...
Please take a couple of pictures. I love to see it.
Thank you. The blue clamp is an Inlay Vise, made and sold by William Ng. See it here: http://shop.wnwoodworkingschool.com/Inlay-Vise-Inlay-Vise.htm
Fortunately nobody is forced to watch videos. I create the long videos (sometimes) because some people do enjoy them. There's something for everybody in this world. Thanks for watching.

They are gift boxes for people to use as they wish. I think they are best suited as pill boxes.
