I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're referring to. Left, right and down all work to move the bed, but it won't come up. Is that in the parameters?
I just turned my laser on to work on a job and I can lower the bed but it won't raise back up. I try to do the auto focus and it lowers just a little bit instead of coming up and doing the auto...
Thanks Kev, I'm going to try that. Hopefully it will work!!!
Thanks Dave. I ticked that box, but it's still going to the upper right corner. I shut the software down and restarted it and the machine too. Any other suggestions???
I had to have LaserCut reinstalled on my computer and now I'm having an issue when I send my job to the laser. From the very first time I used the software and laser I could place my substrate on...
Bill,
Can you show a picture of how you setup for acrylic with the tile please? I can't visualize what you're meaning and I do alot of acrylic and can use any help I can get!
Thanks!
This is very cool, great job. Will follow for new reduced price.
Great job, it looks amazing!
I'm probably late to the party, but has anyone had any experience with http://www.dxfplans.com/ ? They have some amazing projects that I'd love to try!
The coating on the Ozarks is unlike anything I've found. I don't have a rotary for my 80w to laser them, so I'm still doing it the old fashioned way and mask and sandblasting it. I used the most...
You did a great job Bert!!! So proud of you!!!
My honeycomb table was absolutely the worst after several months of cutting trees and trees of wood, I sprayed Krud Kutter on it, undiluted, and before I got to the 2nd "row" it was already running...
Hi y'all!
I'm not sure if this particular company has been mentioned here or not, but West Penn Hardwoods has both domestic and exotic woods in varying widths, lengths and thickness. They were...
OK, really stupid question, but I've asked it several times and never got a concrete answer. When you say take the lens "a bit out of focus", are you talking moving it up (away from the material) or...
I know this thread is over a year old, but it's just recently became relevant to me. I've seen several videos of the eva foam being cut, but I'm not finding any of it actually being engraved with a...
Bert, I just emailed you 2 files, let me know if they work or not.
Thanks for the replies Kevin. I'm still up in the air about which one I want. I want whatever is going to be most useful, but the majority of what I would use it for is beer mugs, pint glasses, etc.
Thanks Kevin,
I'm planning on doing beer mugs (the big 28 oz ones and smaller ones), coffee mugs, rolling pins, bats, pens, etc. I'm sorry I should have put that in my original post. So will the...
Hi y'all!
I'm ready to add a rotary attachment to my machine and I know that Rabbit Laser sells a couple of different types of rotary attachments for QX-80-1290. Does anyone have any experience...
Wow, I'm so jealous of all these great results. I can't, for the life of me, get a photograph to come out that great. I've used all the work arounds through Photoshop and Illy, and I can't afford...
I make quite a few of these and I create 2 layers of the name, one for cutting and one for vector engraving. I don't raster engrave them, I vector engrave them. When i started making them I created...

Does this help?
Travis,
I tried something new today and it seemed to work really well. I put each color on its own layer in Illy and then I saved as a DXF and opened in LC and bam, there they were, all 3 of my...
No, I actually export everything as a DXF file and bring into LC.
