Marked as a 6/16" diameter bit? Might be a "6", instead of a "G"?
Which would make them 3/8" in diameter.
IIRC- Greenlee made, or at least sold, auger bits. I'm not sure what their stamped logo is though.Quote:

Attachment 376189Took a much closer look at the tattered roll. Lined canvas and the Manufacturer says Snell Mfg Co. Fiskdale Mass. No idea if the "G" augers are original to the roll or if they were piecemeal replacements. Snell is the earliest manufacturer of augers in the US beginning in 1841.

Greenlee also made tools for other companies to sell under their own name or with no name at a lower price.
This may have been a way for identifying their bits made for others.
There are a lot of letter brands on tools that may remain unknown for eternity.
