Using lathe while seated

Can anyone point me to good source for working at a full sized (12x24) wood lathe while seated. I am almost 75 and my back is finally protesting all the extra weight I have put since retiring 15 years ago. It’s currently elevated about 8 inches off the shop floor because I am 6’ 2” and I still have to bend over to work the hollowing of the vessel or bowl. I do not turn spindles
I really want to keep it on its original base as it adds good weight to the lathe.

If you can slide the headstock to the end of the lathe, you should be able to directly face the bowl you're turning.

I lowered the lathe(robust liberty) and sit on a rolling adjustable stool. I have limited hip swing options. Most movement is arm. Feet are on the floor. Wt mostly on the chair, back straight mostly. If you can’t lower your lathe you may have to build a platform to elevate yourself. I’ve adjusted projects from big to smaller. Still making shavings at 80.
