Have a new in Crate Jet JJP-12H with the helical head. I't still in the crate, never been used, so I'd have to refer you to the website for images and info. It has the single phase motor. This is the best-for-the-money Jointer Planer combo you can currently buy. I've had two Mini max machines and was moderately impressed with them except my FS-30 machines motor burned out shortly after the warranty ran out. The Jet is a considerably more convenient converter, and to me a better made machine. Let me know if you have any interest. Derby
