Andrew, I have the 27" TMG bandsaw which I got at an auction. So far It has worked out just fine for my usage. I have cut about 3000 bd ft of oak. It is a basic mill with no frills. A little crude on the construction of the mill but nothing is a deal breaker. The price was $2600 which I felt was a good price for the quality of the machine. My neighbor has a Woodland mill the same size. It is a little nicer fit and finish but cost about 25% more. His has the 9 hp motor where the TMG comes with a 14 hp Kohler.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.
You confirmed my suspicions on the fit and finish/construction. I have no illusions of what I'm looking at. If I can get it a good price, I might just go for it.
There are both the 27" and 30" up for sale at my local auction this weekend
